Elizabeth

Elizabeth has been a part of the Tashunka program since 2006, starting out in lessons and also taking part in the Lease program, Tenderfoot and Scout trips before getting her own horse. She started riding with Sarah before she left for college, and than Kira before riding under R-A.  Elizabeth has worked with a number of the Tashunka horses, and had a neat care lease on an experienced Arabian show horse named Shooter.  In 2008, Elizabeth received her current horse, Lilly as a special birthday present.  She has worked her way up the show ladder, from a Junior Walk-Trot Rider, to Novice, and ending her Junior career as a Regular rider.  In her first show as an Intermediate rider in the fall of 2009, she took 2 Reserve Champion ribbons in Showmanship and showed enormous potential in and out of the show ring.  Elizabeth has been a member of Midnight Riders 4H club since 2006, served as the Groom Squad chair since 2008, and currently serves as the club Reporter.
