Past Programs

Tashunka has offered a number of very unique programs over the past few years. Some of which were short lived, and others that carried on for some time. Each of them had a life of their own, and created memories that will last a life time. I have thoroughly enjoyed the experiences I have been able to share with each of the participants, and will carry those memories forever!

Apprenticeship

Private and Semi-private lesson, on personal or schooling horses, are offered year-round at our facility . Participants work towards achieving their personal goals while moving through a progressive lesson program.

Day Adventures

Day trips around the Puget Sound for trail rides, hikes, and just a relaxing day out.

Leadership

A year long leadership program that included specialized training, lessons, monthly meetings, and summer trips.

Overnight - Driving

Some of our Overnight trips went as far as our wheels could carry us, or our rear ends could stand! We spent a number of summers visiting some amazing destinations that were spread all over the Northwest.

Overnight - Flying

Horses are available for Half and Full lease and offer an excellent opportunity to learn first hand about owning your own horse.
