Horse Camps
Camp Tashunka's Horse Camp is designed for youth that are at least 5
years of age and older. Participants have a fun filled week of being
involved with the many animals at our new Redmond facility, and being
involved in hands on learning about Horses, Grooming, English or Western
Riding, Horse Shows or Trail Rides, Vet Care. Activities can include
Arts & Crafts, Farming, Field Trips, Games, Hiking, Pony Rides, Nature
Studies, Outdoor Living, Team Building, and much more. This session will
be led by one staff person with a maximum of eight participants. Full
day sessions in the summer are from 9am to 4pm, and half day session are
9am to 12pm or 1pm to 4pm. Half day sessions in the Fall, Winter, and
Spring are 11am to 2pm.
Advanced Day Camps or Overnight Camps are also available for
participants who are in the Tashunka Lesson program or have received
prior approval. Both the Advanced and Overnight Programs are
limited to 4 participants. The Advanced camp goes monday-friday from 8a
- 5p, each participant has their own horse for the week, participants
take part in all aspects of owning a horse for the week. Feeding,
picking stalls and paddock areas, graining, grooming, vet care, riding,
horse economics, field trips, and much much more.

Half Day Camp - $325 per person.
Full Day Camp - $450 per person.
Advanced Camp - $600 per person.
Show Camp - $600 per person.
Overnight Camp - $750 per person.
